Extending PRIIPs KID to UCITS / Dec 2021

UCITS already make extensive disclosures to investors under the UCITS regime. It is intended to bring those disclosures under the PRIIPs Key Information Document requirement as a matter of harmonisation.

However, the shift is not without problems of over-burdening the fund industry.

​

This extension of PRIIPs to UCITS, scheduled for 2019 has been deferred to December 2021.
